Continuing to dig through the archives, I came across this photograph of a billboard I designed for FBC Fort Smith, Arkansas, in 1986.
It was part of a coordinated identity program I created for the church that included a new logo, branding strategy, radio commercials and a church growth emphasis. I used this campaign as the foundation of my thesis project in Church Communication at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
In the end, I came up a few hours short of completing my degree, but my research paper became the basis for a manual I self-published a few years later called Developing a Church Coordinated Identity Program.
